Above: Pedestrian access to the church (in Chapel Lane) is through the archway between Dave the Barber and Pizza Royale.  With any luck they'll have moved the Transit van by then (the driver must be very thin!).

Directions from Tynedale

Travelling north on the A1, take the A1068 (signed Alnwick and Alnmouth). At the roundabout, take 2^nd exit to continue on A1068. Pass the BP filling station,  Sainsbury’s, and the “Willow” and “Sawmill” Industrial Estates.  At the  next roundabout take the 2^nd exit onto B6346. Pass Barter Books (in the old Railway Station) on left.  Continue straight and under the stone archway. Follow the road as it bears left into Market Street/Clayport Street. Immediately after the Alnwick Arms PH on left there is a narrow archway between Dave's barber shop and Pizza Royale (not for vehicles!).  Pedestrian access to Alnwick Methodist church is through this archway.

PARKING:  Colin Smith (concert organiser) says there is a pay-and-display car-park near Wilkinson's to the left of Dispensary Street. At the time of writing, an all-day ticket costs £2. Dispensary Street (see map on left) is a continuation of Library Street, near the bus station, opposite the pedestrian archway leading to the church.
